Adjustable Step-Down • 3–40 V In → 1.5–35 V Out • Up to 3 A
Wide, Adjustable Output
Dial in the voltage you need using the onboard multi-turn potentiometer — perfect for powering 3.3 V, 5 V, 9 V, 12 V and other rails from higher DC sources.
Compact & Efficient
LM2596 buck topology provides efficient step-down conversion in a small footprint — handy for DIY, robotics, and embedded projects.
No-LED Variant
Clean, no LED indicators design to minimise light pollution in enclosures and reduce quiescent draw.

Why Choose These LM2596 Modules?
This LM2596 step-down (buck) converter 5-pack is ideal for powering microcontrollers, sensors, LED strips, radios, and other DC loads from batteries or higher-voltage adapters. Each board offers a wide input range and a smoothly adjustable output so you can standardise on one module for many builds.
The no-LED layout keeps things discreet inside instrument panels and reduces stray light for camera/optics projects. Use one on the bench for quick prototyping, and keep the rest ready for your next robotics, IoT, or maker project.
Quick Wiring
IN+ → Positive from your DC source (e.g., battery/adapter)
IN− → Ground from your DC source
OUT+ → Positive to your load
OUT− → Ground to your load (common ground with source)
Tip: Before connecting your load, power the module and set the output with a multimeter. Turn the trim-pot slowly; many units ship at a high default voltage. For sustained currents above ~2 A, allow airflow or add a heatsink.
Warning: This is a step-down only regulator. It cannot boost voltage. Ensure VIN ≥ VOUT + ~1.5 V and observe correct polarity.
